When the ocean met the sky

"You missed when Time and Life shook hands and said goodbye.
When the Earth folded in on itself and said good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath."

If you flip a photo of bats hanging upside down, they look like they’re having a wicked dance-off.

I made several different arrangements for him. I was so emotional over this little bunny.I found him lifeless in my yard.I could still feel faint warmth when I held him in my hands. He was so perfect, soft, and beautiful in every way.My heart broke that his little life was over.I didn’t even want to face the reality he was dead. But, whatever happened was done. There was nothing I could do to bring life back into him.I fell in love with this little guy. He was seriously the sweetest thing I’d ever seen.I felt I had to celebrate him, to commemorate him. After many floral arrangements,I found that this one suited him best. Blanketed by ferns, laid among leaves.A halo of tiny poke flowers.A beautiful little creature, rests.

"I lowered the camera so that our eyes could meet once again, I noticed his eye moving along the length of my body before returning to meet my gaze. As I reflect upon that moment and reconsider the question, ‘What does it feel like [to be so close to whales]?’ the only word that comes to mind is ‘disturbing.’"

I would love to feel it
